I tried this scent and the shave was great. Love the scent smells exactly as described. My wife loves it too.

Chiseled Face really did manage to capture the smell of rain on a warm summer day! The scent starts off smelling like freshly mowed grass with a hint of lemon in the mix. This soon transforms into the smell of soaked dirt/earth which has some longevity. The final stage is more of a nice floral scent.
Is this a scent I would wear every day? No. It's more of a novelty scent to me and I'll reach for it on occasion. It's not a mass appealing scent so you may want to be careful about where you wear it.
That said, I still give it 5 stars because I believe it achieves the scent profile as advertised. It's not trying to be a scent that everyone will enjoy. It's meant for those who specifically want this scent profile.

I purchased this and many of the other fragrances from Chiseled Face after I bought Midnight Stag, which i found extremely unique, so i wanted to see how these other fragrances stacked up. Ghost Town Barber is mentioned frequently on Reddit as an well-regarded scent so I decided to try it for myself.
I have been into fragrances pretty heavily for the last few years. I have built up a large collection varying from expensive designer brands, cheapies found at discount outlets, and a mix in-between. Outside of my own direct purchases, I have smelled countless EdPs, EdTs, Parfums, etc...
Believe me when I say that I have not smelled anything like Ghost Town Barber. Yes, you could say this fits somewhat into a fougere-type of scent, but that's not doing it justice. There's something about the leather and gunpowder that give this scent an amazing base mixed with the other ingredients.
The scent is both complex and balanced. Its bold, but its not overpowering. It projects and has great longevity.
This been my most-applied fragrance over the last few weeks. I can't put it down. My wife also loves this scent.
I will definitely be purchasing another bottle when I run low.
I am a recent wet shave convert from cartridge and shaving and am a menthol head. Did a lot of research and this is the top tier of menthol chill shaves. This will be my weekly driver for a long long time.
I have been using this for about (2) months now and absolutely love it!! No more DE razor, neck, burn. Seriously!!!! This is the absolute best i have found. Thank you!!
Leather. Old leather!! This is the first thing my wife and i both said after popping the cap. Not an English Leather "knockoff", oh no no no. I kinda got a '70's Aqua Velva/ Skin Bracer vibe but wayyyyyy more complex!! I envisioned buying the old Cunningham house and unearthing Mr. Arthur Fonzarelli's leather jacket, from an old chest, up in the attic. This is a most unique, brilliant, and masculine scent. Mega kudos to the CFG alchemist that conjured this one up (along with all of the others that I've tried, so far)!!!! The best part is that my wife likes it as well. Overall, i can almost guarantee that when you slap some of this on your mug, your kahuna's are gonna fully drop (no matter what your age is!!) and your gonna have a sudden urge to walk around like you own the place!!

I have been using chiseled face off and on for a few years. Summer storm and Sherlock are the two soaps that I always fall back to.
The scent on this is phenominal . With the dry down it gets better and better. Perfect for the shave soap and aftershave of Midnight Stag.
Love this Sherlock aftershave. Smells great, makes my face feel good. I mix it 50/50 with Cryofreeze, which hits a little too hard for my taste. This mix gives me the perfect bracing aftershave that also smells good. 100% recommended.
