It’s been two years since we made our last original scent - so this scent is long overdue, and I'm excited to bring it to you!
With father’s day coming up, I’ve been thinking about all my dad has done for me, and reflecting on memories I made with my grandparents. This scent is inspired by them, and the name is the first word I think of when I think of them - loyal. No parent can hope to be perfect - but if you are loyal to your children and have their best interests in your heart - you are nothing short of amazing!
This is not a work of fine perfume, but rather a time capsule to the memory of great, hard-working, blue-collar men. My dad and his dad owned a paving company while I was growing up, and my other grandfather was an apple farmer and did their level best to provide everything they could to make help their families thrive - I owe them so much.
Loyal is comprised of the following scent notes: Cedar, Classic Old Spice, Musk, Leather, Coffee, Caramel, Amber, Vanilla, Soil, Petrichor, and the faintest hint of car fumes.
Ingredients: Alcohol, Witch Hazel, Aloe Vera Juice, Fragrance, Calendula, Sodium Lactate, Menthol, Vitamin B5 Pro, Astaxanthin
I am enjoying my products. Personally the products take me back to a time in America that’s very special for me. The scents remind me of early rising, hard work and loyalty. Hey, you asked! LOL
It’s kind of fun to smell this and picture a shop. It’s pretty dead on, but in the end I found it more interesting than good. To me, the Old Spice and car fumes stand out the most.
I recent made my first purchase of Loyal and was pleasantly surprised. The smell is like a trip back to better times. It reminds me of my Dad and an era where men were men and wanted to smell that way.
This scent is absolute nostalgia for me. While many people can lay claim to this sentiment (or SCENTiment??), it doesn't always come off as something you would actually want to wear. Loyal is both enjoyable and wearable. It smells a bit like you've been working in your grandpa's shop, but not like the shop itself. It's a hard nuiance to describe, but definitely one to enjoy. I can't recommend Loyal (soap and splash) highly enough.
Also, let's just take a moment to enjoy a label with a dog on it. I'm not saying to buy it for the label, but that it's a label to enjoy and captures the spirit of the scent. Awesome work!
Do you love the manliness of Midnight Stag but your loved ones don't appreciate the olfactory sensation of being smacked in the face with an aging M1 Garand? Then look no further for your next aftershave. When you first slap this stuff on the sweeter notes will hit your senses. But as it settles in and cools your skin, the musk and leather take over. While the end result is by no means subtle, it is not nearly as aggressive as Midnight Stag. I didn't think anything could unseat Sherlock as my favorite, but Loyal may have done just that.
