This is a tropical bay rum - quite different than most bay rums on the market today - this one actually has a bit of a rum kick to it and is spiced up with ginger and lime to give it a lighter more tropical feel. Contains the following notes: Jamaican Rum - this accord is a blend of natural and artificial scent oils, and smells a lot like a traditional oak-aged spiced rum. Bay leaves - not the ones from Mom's kitchen!  This is 100% essential oils from the traditional  west indie's bay leaf pimenta racemosa Bergamot - Essential to a tropical bay rum scent, this gives a nice citrus kick that isn't too sweet.  Bergamot is probably best known for giving earl grey tea its distinctive flavor. Lime - Gives a fresh kick to an otherwise somewhat dark scent Clove - Every bay rum needs a bit of clove, though this one is understated and blends in rather than taking center stage like clove will tend to if not reigned in.  Cinnamon - A bit of warm spice Ginger - This kinda sets this apart from most bay rums.  Initially, you get a nice strong hit of ginger which quickly mellows out to a more traditional dry down. After getting rid of our commercial sulfate laden shampoos and using our handmade liquid soap for some time we realized that something was missing. We needed something to balance the PH of our scalp after using our handmade products as our natural scalp PH is lower than that of soaps.  Enter our hair rinse gel. This is the easiest method to get all the benefits of apple cider vinegar for your hair and scalp without the hassle and mess of the conventional methods.  Just apply to your head just as you normally would conditioner after using a liquid soap or shampoo bar and rinse it out for better feeling - and looking hair.   Please note that this is an apple cider vinegar product, so it will smell like vinegar.  The smell does dissipate after using though.   This product is sulfate and paraben-free.
