This is not your average soap. This is Cryogen.  We put a ridiculous amount of menthol in here.  So much menthol, that no other scent could be added – the soap recipe just couldn't take any more additives without breaking down. This will sting and make your eyes water.  It might even make your lips go numb. Some may say it is not even usable, but we like it. We believe this is the coldest soap on the market, but if it isn't – someone out there is crazy…

4oz of soap in a plastic tub that can contain 8 oz, so there is plenty of room to load your brush without making a mess – well a big mess any way.  This stuff lathers so much, some will escape even with the lip holding it in.

I have been looking for the coldest mentholated sha e soap and splash I could find. Something to beat the Texas heat and be refreshing. My search is over. I love how my eyes water and my nose runs once I am done shaving and applying the balm and or splash. I bought the body soap too! Chiseled Face has the best balms I have used. Skinfeel after use is incredible!
In the midst of a sweltering heat wave all over the U.S, (and much of the northern hemisphere) this summer, I ordered this shaving soap which is reputed to have the coldest menthol kick of any, and it did not disappoint! It’s a soft soap, easily scoopable (I recommend scooping about 1/4 tsp. Into your bowl for lathering rather than tub lathering to preserve the menthol oil) and renders a smooth, slick, rich lather. The scent is pure menthol. Upon first application, you get a mild cooling sensation, but it builds into a delicious, icy numbness the longer you have it on your face. What’s more, the soap is very lubricating and protective. I had no knicks, cuts, or irritation using an aggressive DE razor. By the third pass, my face felt like I’d just come in from shoveling snow on a cold winter’s day. Amazingly refreshing on a hot summer’s day (but would be fun on a cold day too). Cooling sensation lasts a good while post-shave. Would like to try the aftershave next to prolong the coolness. Highly recommend. Shipped lightning fast, too.
Now, in the age of 70, I finally found the shaving soap with the right amount of Menthol to cool down my face on hot summer days. It's a pitty that the proper Aftershave Splash is sold out now for so many weeks.
Even one hour after finishing my straight razor shave, the cooling effect ist still lasting. I highly recommend not to bloom the tub with water nor to lather up in the tub. Take a little spoon of the product to lather up in a scuttle. Keep the tub and soap dry or you will ruin it in short time.
Dear god is this cold! I shaved 4 times with this stuff and each time without fail I had tears coming down my face. I love this. Takes some work to lather because of the high content of Menthol, but its well worth it!
Great product lathers well and the menthol is great really wakes up my face
