Guy Noir - private eye.  A man still searching for the answers to life's most persistent questions.

NPR was a large part of my childhood, and one of my favorite memories is listening to the prairie home companion and the adventures of Guy Noir.  I have a feeling that this is the scent he would wear.

Repeat buyer

I have purchased four tubs of shaving soap, two aftershaves and a sample pack over the last year and a half. These are the only shaving products I use now! Simply the best!

I dig it

So it’s not a d. Noir clone. But it is a very nice tobacco fragrance. Not too sweet which many are. Reminds me a lot of a Tom Ford that i have, although I find that to be sweeter than this. Probably my favorite tobacco scent thus far.

Tobacco scent and very little else

The product itself works as I would expect it to. The scent lasts longer than any other scent I have used by this brand. I don’t love the smell after it’s on my face. It smells interesting in the bottle, but after application all of the nuances disappear and your left with a strong cigar tobacco smell. I realize in the product description it mentions crushed tobacco leaves, but it also says bergamot, lemon, orange, cognac, nutmeg, and white woods. All I get is tobacco, which isn’t offensive, but I was hoping for more complexity.
