Our Sherlock scent is inspired by the character brought to life in Sir Arthur Conan Doyle in his classic series – The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes – written in the late 1800’s.  It is a warm tobacco based scent blended with toasted caramel, black pepper, moist dirt, and finished with a touch of leather, moss, mandarin, honey and rose.

Along with the Sherlock Soap and aftershave balm, I finish my shaving with this. This is my everyday go to scent. The scent is earthy, musky, but also with hints of leather and tobacco exactly as advertised. It’s gotten me several compliments from not only women, but men who want to know what I’m wearing.
Also, I have fair and sensitive skin so I have to be careful about using aftershave and cologne. With Sherlock, and all CF products, I don’t have to worry. They smell great and don’t irritate my skin whatsoever.
I have tried a lot of CF fragrances over the years and like everything they have released. I even still have some of their special edition Macaque Shave Soap left !!!!
I decided that I should finally try the legendary Sherlock and was not disappointed. Excellent fragrance that I've recieved many compliments on. Using almost exclusively now.
ability to smell fragrances varies person by person. what I smell in order of prevalence: mildly sweet amber, hint of musk, dirt, and spice. the amber/musk pops out throughout the day.
definately a refined fragrance for anything from a work meeting to dinner with friends or wife. wife approved fragrance !!!!
