This is not your average balm. This is Cryogen. We took the comfortable level of menthol and multiplied it by ten. This will sting and make your eyes water.

Better than expected

I enjoy the feeling and smell of mentholated products, so I decided to try this. From the description, I was worried it would be too much. It nearly was the first time I used it, but I think my reaction on first use was partially shock from never having felt something quite like it before. Subsequent uses proved to be much more enjoyable! I have and use all 4 cryogen products, and feel the same way about all of them.

Cryogen aftershave balm is interesting. It's not something I would use all the time, but the menthol feeling is a good change up to a post shave balm. There is no real fragrance to it, which is fine. This balm is more for the potent menthol tingle on your face. So for that, it works.

Good and cold

Lives up to its claim, strong burn followed by a cool tingling, also works outside of shaving as a quick reliever lotion to cool down. Recommended !

Cold!! But after about 5 minutes it just becomes a nice breezy feeling especially when I put the AC in my car on! Stays with for about 15-20 minutes! Usually I place a hot towel directly after applying the balm and it feels wonderful! Amazing way to start the day!
